RecycleBank is a solution for waste management in order to financially reward people for their positive green actions. Based on the use of technology, artificial intelligence, incentives, health education, and community engagement.

Carriers and actors of the project

In this project. It’s crucial to integrate the participation of the householders, neighbors, and citizens who live in the same community. Increasing also the number of partners or local businesses which gives attractive products or services for families who will take green actions. However, the main actors who carry this project should be the municipality and with the help of RecycleBank because it has all the technology, experts, stakeholders, and infrastructure to launch it in different contexts.

How can we improve municipal waste management through citizen action with the help of artificial intelligence in order to get a sustainable environment for the community?

Reason Why

The reason, this smart and creative project among the others is that it has many relevant aspects such as social gamification, sustainable model, and the use of technology and artificial intelligence. Also, this solution doesn’t need many actors or interacción of people, it works as an autonomous system based on algorithms. Along with that, Recyclebank encourages and gives financial incentives to motivate people to be conscious and aware of the waste management system taking environmentally-friendly action, and recommend it to other citizens.
