It was developed by the Indian Multinational Company Mindtree in Bangalore in 2014. Today, It has more than 16th partners and most of them are non-profit companies. Also, waste-pickers integrate this project improving their lives and gaining integrity in society.

The main beneficiaries are rag pickers, scrap dealers, animals, or pets that live in the streets and the community. This initiative encourages neighbors to follow a new process of recycling waste, helping waste pickers reform their lives.
