World Bank MOPA project was created by Jean Barroca in 2009 in Maputo, Mozambique. Actually, many citizens, municipalities, and neighbors from this country use this application to report waste issues and collect data in order to alert the community.
Beneficiaries
All the members of the community, because this solution motivates neighbors to have better conditions to live. And also, the municipal authorities gain more acceptance from the taxpayers.

Focus the waste collection as a first priority of the society in order to impact positively and reduce the pollution environment, epidemics, and diseases caused by poor waste management in the community.
Principle
Fast communication, sending spot notifications about waste issues to the authorities municipality in real-time, allowing a better response and action to the process of recycling.

Mobile application based on GPS, open-source map.
